Introducing the new Colby Brown Photography website. There are a lot of small upgrades that have taken place all throughout the site. Continue reading for a tour with all of the details.
The entire website, including the Home Page, is now 1000 pixels wide. Images should look sharper and more vivid then before, thanks to a new compression system that more accurately reflects my photography work as if you were seeing it in person. I have also done away with the “recent blog posts” section on the Home Page.
The Portfolio section is brand, offering thumbnails on the right side and highlighting the top 12 images in their respective categories that reflect who I am as a photographer.
The online store has been revised and broken up into different sections, currently by “Location”. In the near future I will add a “Best Sellers” and “On Sale” sections as well
The new Bio section showcases more images of me working in various environments around the world and now includes a photo of my family here in Denver, Colorado. I have also updated the the TXT to more accurately reflect current information.
The new Get Involved Section features a few new photos, more information on my current project in Haiti and lists a few new small organizations that are worth checking out.
The new contact page has a new SPAM filter and gives you options for Subjects to contact me about.
A new feature of my website is the Flickr Wall. This area showcases the last 600 images that I have uploaded to the photo sharing website, Flickr. Just click on an image and it will take you directly to that flickr page, often showcasing behind the scenes information on what it took to capture that image in the first place.
