“Nature’s Curves” was taken on Santa Cruz Island in The Galapagos. These Islands feature some of the most amazing wildlife spectacles in the world. This Blue Heron was waiting patiently near a fishing pier for food. I used a Canon 40D with a Canon 70-200 2.8L lens to capture the image.

I love this photograph, I purchased this in 24X36 and it hangs at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio gathering comments every day. Particularily clear and the larger size truly shows off the details of the feathers and eye of this graceful bird.
