It is that time of year again and my 2012 Colby Brown Photography Wall Calendar is printed and on its way to my office. This year I have something special in store for everyone. Think of this collection as a selection of some of my favorite photographs from around the world.

This video will cover the step by step process of how I create some of my best images. “Nature’s Curves” was taken on Santa Cruz Island in The Galapagos. These Islands feature some of the most amazing wildlife spectacles in the world. This Blue Heron was waiting patiently near a fishing pier for food. I used a Canon 40D with a Canon 70-200 2.8L lens to capture the image.

“Million Leg March” was taken in the cloud forests just outside of Mindo, Ecuador. Cloud Forests are known for their bio diversity, where unlike rain forest, it doesn’t rain very often. The clouds still hold moisture in the air, but not enough to be classified as a Rain Forest. If you ever get the chance, Ecuador is one of the most amazing counties on this planet.
