Get Involved

The whole idea of compassion is based on a keen awareness of the interdependence of all these living beings, which are all part of one another, and all involved in one another.”

~Thomas Merton

In this crazy and fast paced world we live in, we sometimes lose focus of the importance of reaching out to others in need. Having a compassionate heart, lending a hand or even a dollar can make a world of difference. With time, support and effort we can feed the hungry, shelter the homeless and educate those less fortunate than ourselves.

In 2009, Colby Brown founded "The Giving Lens", a non-profit organization that's aim is to raise awareness and money to help combat the growing problems that the world continues to face on a daily basis. From child malnutrition to clean drinking water projects, "The Giving Lens" will bring together professional photographers, writers and NGO charities to show the world that photography and journalism can make a difference. Check out our FACEBOOK PAGE, submit your photos through our FLICKR GROUP and follow us on TWITTER.
