Bengal Tigers..Right This Way!
With India’s thriving population of wild tigers, this workshop did not disappoint. We had multiple sightings—especially in Ranthambore National Park—photographing these magnificent cats in a variety of settings: cooling off in ponds, strolling down a path, and even interacting with cubs. Our naturalists were friendly and exceptional spotters. One unexpected surprise was seeing the armor-plated Asian rhino—very different from ones in Africa, but just as stunning. We also captured deer, monkeys, and vibrant peacocks, all set against the backdrop of Ranthambore’s incredible sunrises. For those who arrived early for the workshop, Colby arranged an optional walking tour through Old Delhi. It was a fascinating look into daily life there, with chances to try authentic Indian food. Post-workshop, a couple of us visited Agra to photograph the Taj Mahal at sunrise—absolutely worth the 4:30 AM wake-up for that perfect shot without the crowds! Another amazing adventure, Colby—can’t wait for the next one!
