Colby’s workshop gave us the chance to photograph the Big Five—and so much more. We stayed in both Amboseli and the Maasai Mara, each offering stunning landscapes, incredible game drives, and unforgettable sunsets. On our very first drive in the Mara, we witnessed the migration—a stunning moment! BellaCamp was our base: safe, comfortable, amazing food and warm with attentive staff. Falling asleep to the sounds of wildlife, and knowing the Maasai people were keeping watch, made it feel both peaceful and magical. As a fan of photographing cubs, I was thrilled to capture young leopards, lions, hippos, rhinos, cheetahs, and hyenas. Also several elephant calves. Colby and Simon (our expert guide) always positioned us perfectly for the best shots. Each day in the field outdid the last, and visiting a local Maasai village was also a powerful cultural highlight. Thank you, Colby, for another unforgettable adventure!
