About Me

Colby is a photographer, photo educator and author based out of Eastern Pennsylvania. Specializing in landscape, travel and wildlife photography, his body of work spans the four corners of the globe and covers all 7 continents. 

He is also the founder of the humanitarian photo organization The Giving Lens, which blends the art form of photography with the focus and purpose of giving back to those in need around the world.

  • I am pretty excited to get my hands on the brand new Sony a7R V that was announced just a few days ago by Sony. I will be taking it with me next week to Alaska to photograph Bald Eagles and Brown Bears to see how it holds up to my two Sony a1s that I use most often these days. The a7R V has a brand new dedicated processor for AI learning focused AF, which has the ability to predict movement. This is the next evolution in AF technology and Sony is once again leading the way.
