About Me

Colby is a photographer, photo educator and author based out of Eastern Pennsylvania. Specializing in landscape, travel and wildlife photography, his body of work spans the four corners of the globe and covers all 7 continents. 

He is also the founder of the humanitarian photo organization The Giving Lens, which blends the art form of photography with the focus and purpose of giving back to those in need around the world.

  • One of the most amazing destinations for Astro Photography on the planet has to be Bolivia and the famous Salar de Uyuni. Home to the world's largest salt flats, this incredible dark sky location not only allows you to see more stars in the night sky than just about anywhere else on Earth...but if you time your trip right with the end of the rainy season, you can get mirrored reflections from the pooling water across parts of the salar.
